If you have to borrow cash then the Banks / Building Societies are cheaper than car finance and you can get discount (heavy on RRS) from the dealers.

I have always bought outright but with past car history, would never again buy on my own. Have put finance in place via personal loan with Black Horse but not direct finance on the car. I will still have the back up of a big finance house should the next car be a pup, at the end of three years there are no nasty milage shoxs, nor residuals to pay and if as I have in the past, decided to keep the car over three years, then don't have to buy it again from finance or lease company. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I normally buy outright, but with the RRS I took advantage of the LR 24 months free finance.
