the sunroof can get upset very easily... the reset procedure is quite straight forward (even though I do not know it off hand as I do not own a car with one)! so might be worth knowing how (when it does it again). Someone on here will know.

Thanks for the reply! The alternator was changed nov-12, it had failed completely, had heard from the workshop that it was due to the cold weather (?). Any how, alternator is changed, but the battery is old I must say, could it be that? But then why would all these issues come up from nowhere, especially when I played with the fuses? The brake bulbs are fine, failed at the swedish MOT but then replaced and now working can double check. Regards |

if your alternator failed Nov then it may have damaged the battery (or certainly effected it's life). RRS gone

sunroof now working, it seemed just needed a reset. is it a coincidens that the gremlins came when I played with the fuses? Regards |

Check the output if you can and see what it's at, if it's low, then it's a fair indicator that it'll be on it's way out and the next bought of cold weather will probably kill it. If you're in Sweden I guess the battery take a pounding from the severe weather ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Yes Swedish weather has it's own way of taking car the cars hehehe. Thanks for sunroof-reset Checked battery, was OK. Bulbs OK. No idea here... |

change your battery first and check all the leads are tight when you change it Mike
