Sounds like your battery or Alternator is dying as you should have 12.5 v to 14.5 volts turn all your lights on and leave for 10 mins then start the car and see what voltage it pumps out then.

Have noticed the IID tool seems to always show a lower voltage compared with the direct reading of a multimeter across the battery terminals. Are you using the beta software version (V2.1 |

Cheers Flack will give that a try when I get the car back from the garage and see what happens. Garage also thinks it's a possible battery/ alternator problem.

I'm a IID Tool newbie so still learning but yes - very impressed so far and the IID is well on the way to paying for itself already. Maybe a shot in the dark but re. your engine problem I once had similar issues with V8 petrol Jeep and it was the throttle position sensor.
