2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Siberian Silver
Someone please help me !!!!!! Please read !!!!!

Hi everyone I hope someone can help yesterday my 2006 range rover sport developed a fault which was hdc fault and after investergation I found out that is was the rear right wheel speed sensor so I changed the sensor and still had the same problem so I took my wheel off again to looked at the sensor to find out that the wire I plugged my new sensor in has a break in the wire just before the plug there is two wires one is white and the other is white with a green stripe is the white one that has broken but I cannot see any cooper core or anything ? I have been told today that I may have to replace the whole wiring loom on the car as this wire is cam bar fibreoptic ???? It looks like a normal wire but can't see any core !?? Can some one please help me can I get this wire repaired ? Or has anyone else had this problem ?

The system is CANbus i.e. it's a network rather than a traditional loom (if that makes sense). I'm not aware of any fibreoptic being used. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

If the wire is broken, just rejoin it Thumbs Up

Fiber Optics are only used on the MOST system

Even the CAN BUS network uses normal copper wire Thumbs Up

As said - remake the wire, simple

You might not see the core depending on how it broke

There will be fibres on the car - but the majority (most sensors) are good old normal wire. Mike
