Is it just me? When I turn my Logic 7 off it seems to sound better. Have I got it set up wrongly? 10 TDV8 Santorini

Its not going to hurt it - then you can mess around to improve the settings. Mike

i agree - I think it sounds better with it off but I haven't played around with it for a long time

i tried this today and there is a noticeable difference;

Logic 'on' seemed to produced louder but looser bass and tweet.
Logic 'off' seemed to produce tighter bass at a lower volume and over all lower volume through whole range.

Does anyone know what it actually does?

Logic 7 I believe is 5.1 turning it on is best left to watching DVD's. I think the reason it sounds so different is because there is a centre speaker on the dash that is used for dialog on 5.1 encoded material. This isn't there on music CDs or radio so you get a mix of the stereo channels. Have you tried watching Star Wars on it? Or Top Gun? I also had it in my Lexus and it was the mutts nuts.
