Hunting under accerlation

Hi guys.
Tdv6 my06 hse

Sometimes when the car is up to running temp it won't rev smoothly, if I accelerate hard up a duel carrageway it kind of revs in stages of 500rpm.
Or if I'm going along the motorway at 70mph and hold the throttle just slightly open it revs up a bit then drops and keeps doing it, it's getting really bad now and even the passengers can feel it.

Can anyone help? Big Cry

Thanks in advance
Mitch

I had a similar problem, but it was in my 4.4 LR3. Turned out to be the torque converter.

Maybe a tranny flush and fill is in order? '12 RRS SC

Bristol Transmissions will do this quicker and easier than you will Mitch. They use Lifeguard6 which seems to be the recognised comparable against the Shell M1274.5 fluid.
Thumbs Up

Although it does sound like the Torque Converter plates on their way out..... Bodsys Brake Bible
