Thanks Bean. I didn't find this thread as I was specifically looking for "Invalid Disc". However, as you pointed out mine is a different issue. It selects the discs without any problems but temperamental when it comes to playing.

Hi, I posted a previous post regarding issues with a new replacement cd unit. This is an update. CDs load but not playing for some reason. The message on screen is INVALID CD. Did you manage to resolve your similar issue? I would be grateful for any tips. |

Yes, cleaning the lens didn't work so "resolved" by replacing the whole unit under extended warranty. |
