Keep a can of white spray paint in the car! A photo with hole and paint round it will have highway engineers running in circles. Councils latest get out statement is " we were not aware of the pot hole sir, and road was inspected six weeks ago"

I thought once reported they need time to repair, so your white paint idea might scupper your claim |

Once paint round it they are aware it's there which then leaves them liable. Their only get out clause is if they aren't aware. Am not aware they have a timescale limitation to fix it. If its a danger then obviously it needs fixed soon as. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I put in a successful claim against Medway council 12 years ago, they paid out £2500 to replace a wheel, 2 tyres, steering rack and bent shock absorber on my Sierra Cosworth

Just to add insult to injury, have now found out that the bloody spare wheel is a 19inch and not a 20inch as the rest of the car.
