Windscreen washer

OK, next problem!

The washer jets have stopped working on the car. At first I though they might be frozen, but even when the temps have raised to 2 degrees they aren't working. Done a few searches and it seems the fuse is a common problem. Does anyone know if there's anything else on the same circuit that would have stopped working as a quick test, as by the time I get home tonight it will be pitch dark outside.

Also, do people recommend getting a bigger fuse as a replacement?

That's twice as as many problems as I had in 6 years of Ford ownership in the first week of LR ownership haha. I'm hoping I can resolve this without another drip to the dealers!

Thanks for that - does that mean the heating element comes from fuse 12 and the actual motor from fuse 38? Are heated jets standard? Not sure which one I should be looking at

Heated jets: Not sure they are standard, do you have the 'Cold Pack'? CP was standard on UK HSE's I think, but I see you have an SE, maybe it was added as an option ?

I read the information that yes, the pump and the heating run off separate circuits Thumbs Up

I'd check under the bonnet first and make sure the pipes are connected. Also, do you hear a noise of the pump when you press the washers ? If not, I'd replace fuse 38 first Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

On my MY12, the fuses are the pony little ones, but not sure if MY11 is the same, best check before you buy the wrong size. I'm sure someone will comment for you Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
