2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

Starting without having foot on brake.

I had the LR Assist man round a good few weeks ago to sort out my lack of knowledge ref heaters and batteries
While chatting towards the end of his visit, finishing a brew, he showed me the way of starting without having a foot on the brake. Can I remember how? Is it bugging me?

Anyone able to remind me/us?
(Smart key against steering column?)

I know there's a place you hold the fob against denoted buy an oblong shape on the plastic just above the peddles but thought that was only for emergencies when it doesn't recognise the key. I'm sure someone will correct me. MY 11 RRS Luxury Stornoway Grey Ivory/Black leather contrast stitching Logic7 side steps roof DVD system for the grand daughter. Mercedes SL500 for the summer. Vito Sport X for work. Gone to many to list but what larks
