Suspension fault

Can anyone help? I have a 2005 sport HSE, had a problem with the suspension fault "suspension fault normal height only" and the orange wobbly RR indicator. The battery then went flat, charged it and the whole thing died a few minutes later. Took it to a mechanic who changed the battery control system, new alternator and a heating relay at a substantial cost.
The suspension is still playing up and I've been told the suspension control system is showing up faulty.
I'd appreciate any advise I can get as in feel I'm being ripped off.
PEASE HELP!! Sad

You may be unlucky and have 2 different problems occurring at the same time - what do you mean by suspension playing up? Confused 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Thanks peachy for responding so quick. Poor to having the battery problems sorted I used to get "special programmes off" and "normal suspension hight only" with the orange wobbly indicator. She suspension would lower but then raise to normal hight immediately. just wondering where I go from here, been advised I need a new suspension control unit.

I can only advise from my own experiences - the suspension Compressor is located in front of the n/s rear wheel - it becomes noisy when its due to fail - mine had been refurbed ( in a fashion ) & started to play up almost straight away after I had purchased the car. It was showing the same faults as yours - it was replaced & it's been great since. The lads on here are great - some are close to genius when it comes to solving problems Whistle Whistle so stick with it !! 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

....not sure if it can be reconditioned or not but in any event you might find a new one more cost effective anyway. There is a relay that needs to be replaced as well.

This link to the Service Bulletin that applied to a fault might be useful to you ...

Good luck getting it sorted Thumbs Up Carl

It's the Lion V6. Ford / PSA as mentioned.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_AJD-V6/PSA_DT17 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
