Red Air bag warning light on

Hi all any advice got in the car this morning and the red airbag warning light has stayed on any advice thanks in advance Pete "Remember its easier to say sorry than it is to get permission " especially off the Mrs !!

Does it flash for a second then stay on ? Have you changed any bulbs or lights lately ?? Shocked 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

RAC have the diagnostic tool to read your faults - ( my neighbour is a mobile engineer for them Smile ) I recently had the same problem - it was a CANBUS error probably caused by all the extra gadgets being installed & I have recently changed interior bulbs to LED & the side lights - apparently error free ? The fault was cleared and has not reappeared. It was a very cheap fix Thumbs Up 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Check the airbag connections under the front seats - they might have been kicked loose.

Hi all changed all bulbs side light and interior to led 3 months ago never had a problem changed rear lights to 2012 LEDs 2 weeks ago and fitted resistors worked ok till this morning everything was ok last night cheers "Remember its easier to say sorry than it is to get permission " especially off the Mrs !!

Have checked all light bulbs and wires under the seat all ok went to local indy for diagnostic £10 came up with something like can bus read error then he went into another menu and it said again something like communication error ___ turned off He said he hadnt seen it before so he just reset it all and up to now all fine Thumbs Up Thumbs Up "Remember its easier to say sorry than it is to get permission " especially off the Mrs !!
