When buying, don't worry about upgrades which have been done to someone else's taste.

FYI, I paid £26k for a 57 reg TDV8 with 42k in Java Black + black leather. It has full LR service history, 4 new Pirelli tyres fitted and is pretty much mint - bought from a non LR dealer. It has a 2 yr warranty & got the alternator done on day 1 (£500) +30point LR check which highlighted hydro-bushes, so once they are fixed, again under warranty... Happy days

Having the same dilemma Saf, torn between newer one with more miles or older one with less miles!? My budget is the same as yours and I have found a few 06/07 plates, 40k miles for the same money as 08/09 plates with 60k miles.

The new RRS is likely to be out next year (2014) although we hope that might be late 2013... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
