United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black
:censored: :censored:

Unfortunately I left my mobile phone in the car overnight, and just few hours ago two pricks threw a brick into the passenger glass trying to break and get the phone. As soon as I heard the noise I ran outside to find scratched glass and the door. Good people approached me and described the ducks who did it. At the same time the Censored were coming back to check out the damage they did and as soon as insaw them from far away I jumped into the car and phoned the police. While chasing the idiots I drove to a morisons car park to leave the car there to continue the chase. Unfortunately the car park had a 2 meters restriction entry which I did not pay attention to, obviously in a hurry. This resulted in a completely broken roof box. What's more while i was parking the Censored managed to get away. Despite that fact the police arrived quite quickly we failed to find the morons who tried to break in in he day light at 1 pm! That's incredible, people are not afraid to commit criminal offence in the middle of the day!

Now new roof box, probably new glass and fixing the scratches on the door is going to cost me thousands! What a Friday... Vadim A.

Thanks BC. Thumbs Up
I wont be getting another roofbox for now, until next holidays anyway. But the rest will have to be fixed. I might actually try to get the roofbox paid for with the home insurance that covers all my belongings. All I need to do is to come up with a story that the roofbox broke inside the house.. Laughing

P&J - I like that Thumbs Up Vadim A.

You could say they hit it with a bar that said "Max Height 2m", scroats will steal anything nowadays to use in a break in, and then it will match up with the imprint on the front of the roof box Whistle

I would also add a sorry to hear this too Thumbs Up

Soo...the police advise people not to turn into vigilantes and to leave it to them to catch the bad guys. When you report it they say there's nothing they can do, they haven't got the resources, it's your word against theirs bla bla bla...Evil or Very Mad

Sorry this happened to you mate. The only thing these scrotes would be useful for is as organ donors! Evil or Very Mad Want to do a DIY job on your car? Check out the definitive 'how to' thread in the technical section Thumbs Up
