However after just a week or so i decided i did not like the new wheels, so came across a set of second hand 22" super seven replicas that where crack free however badly curbed, so off they went to be refurbished in bonatti grey body colour.

Was reasonably happy with the looks at this stage but knew i wanted more. So after some research it was either a 2010 autobiography conversion or HST conversion, but just couldnt justify the cost of the 1st option so started the hunt for HST parts.

next job on the list was the ride height as in standard mode when driving, the car looked hideously high even for a 4x4 and was sick of putting the car into access mode everytime i got out of it as couldnt stand how high it sat with the 22's, so again after some research decided to have it electronically lowered by 25mm.

I love those wheels! They look great colour matched! Did you tint the rear lights yourself?

Then i stumbled across alloy wheels no3 at a local land rover main dealer, these were quickly purchased and fitted, 22" onyx style gunmetal and silver wheels.

Sorry, they where sold via fleabay to pay for the new ones! ha. No problem, do it, just build up the layers lightly (4 coats) then one heavy coat to finish. I used edging tape to mask around the curved lines to make them look as professional as possible. Hope this helps and have fun, p.s. a can of removal spray is also a good idea, i messed up the 1st attempt! ha. |

next was the hunt fot the HST bumpers, i found several rear bumpers, mostly incomplete and largley damaged and had almost given up hope and was even considering fibreglass.....cringe!!!!, when these genuine OEM items came up, complete with fog lights, parking sensors and all covers and in perfect mint condition. They where not cheap buy any means but bought them in seconds as i knew they where rare and could always sell on in the future to recover the cost if needed, anyway here they are as i got them, black with orange detailing...
