WD40 isn't a great idea for things that should be greased e.g. hinges. It dissolves grease and can leave things with less protection than they had before.

I actually have never done Nything from the above. But I live in London, it doesn't get that cold here. I keep wipers off during winter just in case and use the wind screen heating when it goes below 0. Never had a door stuck even during ski trips. Vadim A. |

Silicone spray should do the job. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

I have a similar issue with the boot button in the winter. I think it gets moisture in it and freezes.

+1 on the silicone spray also v good for creaks and groans in the cock pit! ( tried it ont he wife worked wonders!) Also carry an bottle of de icer which obviously sorts the frozen locks etc out. 2007 Black on Black colour coded TDV8 |
