Two issues - washers and low coolant.

Was on a long drive yesterday and windscreen washers were not working even though I only filled the filler a few days ago. On refilling, I observed water running out the passenger headlight washer - didn't completely drain the tank but lost a reasonable amount. On filling again, water again started to drain but soon stopped. Any ideas??

Also on this drive when accelerating in Sport mode to over take at about 120kph, the low coolant warning would show and then go away. When doing the same in normal "Drive" there is not low coolant warning and on checking the coolant it is fine. Again, any ideas?

Thanks

Don't know about coolant but washer issue will probably be non return valve fitted in pipe down by washer jet, just had to do one on mine same issue water leaking out of jet. Need to remove headlamp to can gain access to it.

Cheers

My low coolant message used to come on in the same situation. Then it started coming on more and more often (nothing wrong with coolant levels).
The float inside, becomes porous over time, so it's a common issue, but I think you are at the stage where the float is only a bit porous, but the increased revs, makes the water flow faster and the float is not floating enough to stay up, so the message comes on. You need to replace the whole coolant bottle (there's a newer design). Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

Its the same design as they have on newer RRS AND d4. Nothing major, just the coolant bleed port has moved. Bodsys Brake Bible
