I was thinking of getting ones with resistors, they are more expensive though. The lumens output is stated at 3000 per bulb. How does this compare to b standard bulb... 2008 Supercharged Stornaway Grey, 22inch black Stormers

Indicator bulbs need resistors to prevent the tell tale flashing at double speed. I have these in my cornering lamps: http://www.hids4u.co.uk/h8-28-led-foglight...power.html No resistors required. They do a couple of cheaper versions, but these are great. Do not put LEDs in your H7s though. As TheWojtek has pointed out, they are not capable of matching the beam pattern. The H8 cornering lamps work because the clusters substitute beam for sheer power (hence, IMO, the really good bulbs are a must), and because a conering or fog beam has a wide spread of light, with little distance. For a main headlight this compromise would not be adequate. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 Auto HSE Zambezi Silver |
