Do you do lots of short journeys? You need to charge the battery. Get a decent battery charger such as a CTek unit. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

That's what's strange I've done 1,000 miles last week including a 300 mile drive yesterday so was surprised when this came up.

I get this when I’ve had the radio on without the engine for about 10 minutes. Still get it with a new battery and read (for my car at least) that it’s correct. Has yours just started doing this? 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

I had a lot of problems with Low battery warning. Even after Ctek charging it was still coming up with this. Changed both batteries last year but it soon came back & was driving me mad. The car was in the main not used much & doing short journeys, not the best conditions for a healthy battery, but Ctek should have kept it up. I also have an F type which was taken off the road at the end of October till the beginning of May & had a Ctek on constantly. No problems, started first time & stop/start worked from the off. A couple of weeks ago I put the Range Rover into an Auto electrician who diagnosed a parasitic drain. He had it for 4 days until he tracked down the fault. Obviously he was not working on it full time as he was checking something then had to let the car go to sleep to see if that was the fault or not, then do the same again. Since I got it back it has not been on Ctek, no warning messages & stop/start is working as it should. (Hope I have not jinxed it by saying its fine ( So dont change the battery, but get an Auto electrician to look at it, not the main dealer as they will just sub contract the work but add their cut. That is unless its still under warranty, but when I initially asked them about it they said drive it more so they are clueless. Hope this helps |

I got it all the time after I installed the dashcam, its the stop/start battery that causes it,i used to do 200-300 mile & it was still showing after I turn engine off.In the end I just ignored it.Even after charging battery up for a day it made no diffence. Andy.
