Scotland 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Fuji White
permanently lowering my RR sport TDV6 2006.

Hi folks

I have the button which lowers the car, keeps it at driving level and raises it to off road height for extra clearance.

I like the idea of keeping it lowered. The car automatically raises to the middle setting when I reach a speed of 30mph. I lower it all the time as it looks meaner and a bit more sporty but I've been told if I continue to lower and raise as much as I'm doing then the airbags will start to cause me problems.

Is there anyway the car can stay lowered? Or is it not good for the driving etc. Please if you can help I would be very grateful.

Do you Not find the ride is terrible with it lowered, don't think I would like to travel far with it like that.

As above Thumbs Up

GAP EASControl (you tube videos if you search EAScontrol) Thumbs Up

Anything more than 25mm will greatly effect the ride quality, mine's been on -22mm for 12 months now and it's great, you do however lose the access height selection with anything more than 17mm? (Hits the bump stops and goes into extended height) RRS gone

How much are you looking to get for it? And does the device still allow me to use the lowering and raise buttons to set heights?

For example if I lowered it to 25m then how would I get it back to normal road height if I wanted to use it for a longer journey? And then do I need to plug in again to get back to my 25m or do I just use the button in the centre console?

Apologies for the questions its my first RR venture.

Thanks. Range Rover Sport Supercharged 2006 plate

When it's plugged in you manually select hight by mm.
As long as you haven't lowered it by more than 18mm you can still use access mode. Obviously however low it's set you can always use off road mode. If you want to set it to original settings you have to plug it in and change by mm again. What it does is basically hack into the system and reset the calibration so the vehicle thinks whatever you've lowered it by is the standard height if that makes sense.

Ok I get you! Sounds easy. Is there any negatives with it? Or faults that may occur by doing this?

And how much are you looking for?

Thank Range Rover Sport Supercharged 2006 plate

Franko,

I've been running the EAS/IID Tool lowered suspension (-15mm) now for quite sometime and have had no fault codes etc occur.

However, I will say going from standard height with 285/50R20 tires to -15mm ride height and 285/35R22 I have noticed the ride firm up significantly, however, I have to say it's not offensive, even on the poor roads we have here.

In addition, the EASControl unit takes a backup of the vehicles standard ride height settings prior to any adjustment by you.

So you can return to standard at any time Thumbs Up

Wheel alignment def advised, my rear toyos were showing wear on the inside after 8k's worth of lowered ride height RRS gone

I had the adjustable links from lowermyairride it did what it was supposed to do. I set it to the lowest and OMG what a stupidly hard ride. It looked fab, but was totally undriveable even a leaf in the road had you quaking. I got rid of them in the end as it messes about with the ride height settings too much and was a PITA.

Recently bought the IIDTool and lowered my FFRR. No faults, car looks a lot nicer now, especially with the 22" wheels.

Haven't noticed a difference in the ride to be honest.

I would go for the IIDTool over anything else, very useful, you can turn on some features in the back end, read faults, mess around with the suspension. I think I paid 275. Good to have.
