Hi all and as this is my first forum with RRS fanatics, I was hoping to get some input and ideas from you all. Been on the forum most of the day reading a lot of interesting subjects. You lot are seriously committed...... Which is great. Anyway, at present I own a 2006 HSE RRS in Bonetti Grey and have ordered my new 2013 my RRS HSE with body kit, side steps and privacy glass.... Hear comes the interesting part...... It's in FIRENZE RED... Now I know a lot of people have tried to put me off this colour as it oxidises over time ( or so the older colour cars did). Has anyone got any clues as to if this will be the case with Range Rover as I personally think that it won't. I was hopping to get some ides if anyone can assist

Firenze red? Or as I call my mates evoque......metallic maroon , I don't see you having any problems, it's very similar to the other maroony colour, and most older ones are still fine. Years ago the pigment went in true red cars, but I'd say since about the early 2000s, they ( or BMW did anyway) seemed to cure the problem

We had a metallic red P38 for 6 years (and 150,000 trouble free miles) paint was as good as new when we sold it -

Thanks for your replys. That's put my concerns to bed a bit. Haven't seen many red ones on the road as most are black or grey. (As is my current model ). I just hope that it don't look like a fire engine otherwise ill have to ask the kids to shout nee naa out of the windows every now and then, I have posted a picture in my album as to the one I have ordered.

Funny, I thought that too when I looked at Ady's pic, but on the one I saw in the flesh at my local dealers I can't say they looked small. Maybe just a perspective thingy with the photo 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black 2013 Evoque 5 Door Pure Tech SD4 - Orkney Grey with Panoramic Roof (Mrs E's new baby) GONE - RRS - 3.0 TDV6 HSE - Santorini (2010) GONE - RRS - 2.7 TDV6 HSE - Java Black (2007) GONE - Porsche Boxster S - 3.2 - Black |

Personally, I wouldn't put 22's or above on the car, firstly for the reason you said, kerbing. Secondly because,IMHO, they ruin the ride completely. The 20's look fine and your spine will thank you in the long run! 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black
