Since my car was serviced before I went away it has now developed a creaking bed spring like noise from the suspension. It's driving me potty.

Obviously you only hear it at low speeds but any bumps, when you accelerate, slow down, all you can hear is creaking and groaning coming from the underneath of the car (No, there are no tramps stuck under there) Traditional coil springs were quieter than this!

I have booked it into the dealership next week to have this looked at, plus have the steering re-aligned after fitment of the replacement alloys (Why can they not get this right the first time I ask myself) L319 D4 HSE

It will be interesting to see if any of these components will be replaced on mine, I shall certainly be mentioning it. Thanks for that update manni. L319 D4 HSE

I've been having an odd, obnoxious noise coming from the front right intermittently, most noticeable at slow speed and when shifting. Although I did hear the noise once when the car was off and the suspension adjusting itself, just to add to the confusion. Please keep us posted. I can never get the noise to come when I have a LR Tech in the car with me. 2005 Supercharged Range Rover Sport

Sounds like a suspension damper creak. Get your dealer to fit new dampers this should clear the problem. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.
