Total closure system ???

Hi

Another query whilst awaiting delivery !

Does the alarm feature a total closure system - ie locks the doors, closes the windows and sunroof when you hit the lock button ?

If it is not standard, does anyone know if it can be programmed to do so ? It would also be good if the mirrors would fold in and out when the alarm is armed / unarmed.

You don't get this by default. Not sure if it can be programmed to do so. I don't think anyone has mentioned that it can be done on this site over the past 9 months..... have a word with your dealer and see if it can be configured (but don't get your hopes up).

Let us know what you find out. Good luck!

Thanks Shmoogle - I'll give them a try. It would also be good if the access height was lowered and raised when the car was locked and unlocked.

Tonser, you can programme the access height into your key yourself. There is a third pushbutton (the LandRover one) on the key that can have a few different things programmed into it, access height being one of them. All covered in the owners manual. RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

Hi Lateral

I just read about that in the manual, but it only works if you've already turned the hazard warning lights on.

Yes, this is a so-called safety feature. Apparently you have to warn people that the car is going to lower a bit... wouldn't want to get caught up in the air suspension now, would we? Laughing

I wouldn't want to be a headlight if you're going to sitch on it! Very Happy 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
