Yes - because I can and it was only £250 and means much more to me than some of the ones I see costing £1000s Now - MY11 RRS Autobiography TDV6, Orkney gray, tints, steps, daylight running lamps and allllll the toys!!!

I've got one because I found one with my exact nickname which goes back to my college days ,its my initials phonetically and I use on most forums and it only cost me £150 plus all the bits.

Same for me, bought mine 15 years ago to put on my first impreza , which look so much better with a short plate! I wouldn't have bothered otherwise and wouldn't spent silly money on one, £400 tops! I always buy new, and it doesn't bother me putting my plate straight on( know some who leave them off until the next plate change!!) We don't have personal plates in the UAE but you can spend a fortune on the lowest possible amount of digits on your car.
