yup, i had to really, the seller took his private reg off, so it was going to have the orginal on, which i was having to pay for
i was on ebay and saw going for £2000 , as the seller had a load of reg numbers, i looked on the dvla website, and there it was for £249 all in price, so i bought it, then emailed the ebay seller asking him for a quick sale price, he came back with "sorry, i no longer have it, but you could have had it for £1500' i replied, 'never mind, ive just bought an identical one for £249'

I could not resist WE 60 MUD (we go mud) for the rrs, seeing as i spend my weekends either doing off road competitions or on my mountain bike getting muddy.

I liked the thought of towing my defender on a car trailer behind the RR with that number on the trialer.

I initially bought JON 60 MUD but cancelled that the next day as i wanted maximum re-sale value when i sell it on so did not want to link it to a name and narrow my market.

it`s very easy in Germany. You can look in the internet, what is available, pay a few Euros (20) to the puplic authorities and 15 Euros for the plates. It`s possible to choose the wifes birthday (HN-KK 1902 for example) or the day of your marriage. So you will never forget again !

We have 6ECA on our S4 as my wife is called Rebecca and gets shortened Beca, to had to buy it when it came up. I have AH 16 waiting to go on to my RRS when I eventually find one! Yes they can go for crazy money, but as much as I havent bought them to sell on, its nice to know that its one of the few purchases in life that appreciate in value whilst you get the enjoyment out of them! Current transport : Audi S4 V8 Cabriolet, Suzuki GSXR600 K1
