2013 Sport

I know this is boring and I certainly am not going to waste most of my evening/life typing up a day in the life.

But suffice to say, I decided to do my first real trip in the 2013 MY sport and it was b Censored y fantastic.

its safe to say the sum of the small modifications even between 2012 and 13 seem to just take it massively on.

Im now sold on the boot - im sure i will revert when i put the dogs in because thats where the split boot comes into its own. However, there is something nice about walking up to the car the boot opening and then it taking care of shutting whilst i get in.

The engine and gearbox modifications - wow - they just move it on massively, i wont resurrect the TDV8 debate, but this just does it, oodles of power doing 70mph at about 1650rpm and an mpg now at combined 30.2 and rising - im still treating her like a lady and breaking her in - although she does shift (not in sport)...although i will note its learning my gearbox style

Steering and suspension including pirelli tyres are perfect and i liked the last set up. Ive always liked pirelli tyres, although get goodyear for reasons i wont go into. but back to them and they seem great

Infotainment - perfect, voice recognition easy and perfect...i need to test a little niggle, im thinking the sub may have a vibration issue i need to check when its worked.

overall - truely fantastic (and i loved my last one)

ill shut up now, just wanted something positive for the record Thumbs Up Yawn Mike

Thanks all - i was a little shocked how different (for the better) some things were, mainly the engine.

I have to say driving through the city and being able to just speak at the car and it does it, without remember the exact command is very useful Mike

I'm not fully sure on all the 12/13 differences...I need to ask.

The headlight change is one...now not requiring adjustment to go abroad, grill and trim colours are darker. There are probably others but I didn't look at the 12 to be honest...it seems like its had a few but not really any listed...I'm assuming same bhp etc.

Were Pirelli tyres on the 12's?

As for the comment on the 11...there are differences, it does change the field, if I still had my 11 I would still be content and happy with it, I didn't change for the 13 changes.

Oh and DRLs...I'm went round to have the halos activated by my mated but he was away...ok I went to my mates and he could do it but it wasn't for those stupid DRLs Thumbs Up Rolling with laughter Mike
