not sure on the new ones as they are hard drive based, but previously satnav disc were release by navteq every year around september time

The cost of replacing the discs (mine isn't the HDD version) is why I just use the sat nav capability of my phone now. I have CoPilot installed on my Nexus and it works pretty well - certainly no worse than the OEM kit in the RRS, it keeps itself updated and it includes "safety" cameras too which is nice. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
