Sorry to hear of your woes, however not wishing to stress you further, but my dealings with Hatfields when I owned an XF-S were utter garbage. They even went to far as to ignore my request not to take any further action on my car (that I had disputed paint issues on) and went ahead and resprayed it again even though it was going for "inspection".

That's because you buy from the dealer, not the maufacturer. If you buy a pair of shoes and they're faulty, you take them back to the shop whence they came not the factory they were made in. If you buy some food from a supermarket and it's rancid when you get it home then you take it back to the supermarket, not the producer. You don't have a contract with JLR, you have it with the supplying dealer. It's the dealer who has to chase JLR and if you get a poor dealer then you're, um, screwed. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

I must say its unfortunate what has happened with this situation and I can sympathise with you, however after 9 pages of information on this thread, I find it is now getting a bit boring, draw a line under it and move on, Buy another manufacturers vehicle if you are that disillusioned, and forget the Land Rover brand.

I had a similar experience to Chesterfield with Hatfields Sheffield when I made the huge mistake of buying a used Jaguar XJR off them.
