Mine has a first aid kit in the tow strop position too. As mine appears to have spent the early part of its life in Germany I guess that's why - I believe a first aid kit is required there too.

I'm toying with moulding my own tool tray to replace the standard tray so that I can have somewhere out of site to put my shotgun. Hopefully will be able to rig up a way to lock it to the car too but need to remove the standard tray first...

How do you store things under the back seats? Have you found a suitable box or are they just loose? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

The space where I have my tow strop shown, is intended for storing the LR First Aid kit. It's just that I didn't have the first aid kit at the time I took the picture.

Subsequently I did get the FAK & popped it in it's intended space, moving the tow strop to under the back seat squab on the drivers side.

There's a nice bit of storage space under there & if you pack cleverly, you can put a fair amount of stuff under the back seats, without it all rattling around.

My strop sits under the middle squab of the back seat it is wide enough that it won't fit in a box or such and rolled up fills the space nicely, also under the seat squab is a folding shovel/entrenching tool which is held in the centre of the strop. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

I must look again at underseat storage. I had a quick look but was worried about damaging the wiring under there for the heat seats. I'm sure I can make use of it though - thanks for the ideas 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

the section of floor just behind the back seat also comes up and there is a shallow space under there to store things as well. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh
