Has it always done it? They say the sport learns your driving style and if you have been taking it easy because its new then maybe thats the reason why, try driving it like you've stole it for a while but in sports box. |

I think its psychological, you get used to the cars performance then suddenly it doesn't seem as quick as before, it was the same with my previous remapped 2.7 sport, so i used to put it back to standard map for a week the put the performance map back on and you really can tell the difference, it used to put a smile back on my face. |

My TDV6 Does the same, If i am at a roundabout and want a lively take off, If i floor the peddle,I just keep rolling without any acceleration. If i don't floor it, it is fine. I thought this was a fault. But when i drove a new car on LR Experience it did the same. The explanation was it is Tubo Lag,It is very frightening when you think you have time to zoom away, and don't go anywhere itisme |

As mse says, that way it works fine, i always do it when i'm preparing to overtake someone but i usually knock it down two cogs if the revs and speed allows Its not just turbo lag the gearbox can't or doesn't act quickly enough for my driving style hence why i use the paddle shift and sports box more than most people. sometime the autobox feels like its gone into limp mode till it wakes up then it throws you back in your seat when it has woken up which is not good for your passengers This is where a remap is needed in my opinion. |
