I made a 15mm hole in the panel directly above the lever on the RHS light so I can access the lever with a small hook I made from rigid plastic (not metal because of the electrics!). The hole is blanked by a rubber grommet and looks original.

I can now switch the direction of the beams, for left or right, in a few minutes after coming off the ferry and keep my hands clean.

OK I think Im getting there

So basically im going the right-ish way by removing the round cap at the back of the unit, however the lever is tucked inside further away from where would make sense to reach it easily

If so more furtling required then
Its bloody tight in there and I can see why the manual rec's removing the whole sodding lot

Now I know where they are its a 2 min job at most
Im going to train up my 10y old as her hands are probably the correct size to duck under a minute for it

Oh and my magnetic GB sticker happily confirms the tailgate of a RR Sport isnt metal
