Broken Down ! - UPDATED

Car was very sluggish to start, then whilst driving sytems failure warings and lowered suspension errors. LR Assist has just checked the car, which is now belting out lots of smoke, and taken it to the dealers as he has found that the turbo is not kicking in.

All of this is apparently due to a broken earth wire somewhere in the engine bay !

Anyone else experienced anything like this ????

Thanks to those who replied, but the problem has been diagnosed as THE WIFE ! Unfortunately the vehicle had £30 of unleaded in it !
All has now been repaired thanks to Morrison's in Stirling and I now find myself £4000 down !!!!

Not something we have come across before with a turbo issue, though, we can all only speculate until we know what fault codes have been stored.

Normally, a fault like that tends be be fuel pressure related, or CAN-BUS related Strathearn Engineering

Had most of the same issues bar the smoke, mine turned out to be the alternator, but get the battery checked first. I've had the alternator done and all seems OK.
