Taking the RRS to Normandy in 4 weeks time. I know that I'll get bored so have already ordered chrome lettering, new badges, new wheel centres and a new rear wiper arm to fit whilst on holiday

Keen to take some time cleaning and polishing her....could anyone recommend the best products ( or links) to use

you cant go wrong with autoglym.

two buckets, one for shampoo one for a rinse before putting the wash mitt back in the shampoo, will help prevent grit been washed back on to the cars paintwork and hopefully reduce swirls/scratches

shampoo, autoglym, dodo juice born to be mild, Gtechniq G-Wash
Meguiers Clay bar starter kit (clay Bar and quik detailer/lube)
A de-tarring spray like AutoGlym (better available, but with travelling might be safer to take this)
Polish AutoGlym SRP (or I heard good things about Gtechniq P1 for hand and machine)
Glass, Clay bar and then Gtechniq G3
Sealing the car, with a easy to use product has to be Gtechniq C1.5 Silo Seal, mist on, wipe, swap microfibre and wipe off, beads water and shines really nice and a couple of coats will last six month

I find AG products (SRP and EGP) superb on dark coloured cars, my RRS included but not so hot on silver/white where an acrylic based sealant seems beter IMHO. Gtechniq C1+ is altogether on a different level tho'.
