My understanding (which is fairly limited so I am open to being corrected!) is that Hankooks offer the best value for money (about £170 each for 20") and that they are pretty good with the level of road noise. I have seen some P Zero's on offer for under 200 but other than that the other options are more expensive.

Don't know anything about Toyo's though

This is where i would expect the tyre sponsor (AJS 4X4) to add their comments and knowledge but all they use the site for is to sell tyres and no real input to the site at all Whistle I know they will be busy fitting tyres right now but they don't fit tyres 24-7. I thought sponsorship of the site was a little more than just using it as an advertising shop. Rolling Eyes

Hi guys,

From my experience I find that Pirelli are much quieter than the likes of Toyo but because they are a soft tyre you don't get much out of them, maybe 10-12k miles.

We fit Toyo Proxes 285/35R22 tyres to all our 22" wheels as we feel they are the best all-round performer in terms of quality, wear and price. Customers typically enjoy around 30k miles out of these as they are a hard wearing tyre.

If anyone needs any replacement Toyo's let me know as I can be very competitive on price due to the volumes we order!

Jordan

Pirelli's great grip but soft (as said before)
Contri's have soft shoulders so scrub real quick and look worn before they are due

Thumbs Up

I'd be a bit concerned that a dealer (franchise?) is selling 22" (not LR approved) copy alloys (not genuine) as the real deal with budget tyres?

Overfinch would be interested in this dealers name also... as there are obvious copyrite laws being broken here RRS gone

Very good point awd man, we've already had legal proceedings against several companies selling counterfeit Overfinch wheels and claimed damages so myself and trading standards would be very interested in this particular dealer.

If you email images of the wheels to jordan.sloane@overfinch.com I'll let you know what a genuine set would cost, the Toyos we retail at £205+VAT (including fitting costs) but I have some movement in that price should any forum members be interested in purchasing some Very Happy
