United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Anyone with a 5lt supercharged?

As crazy as it sounds, I am considering one next time round.

Real life, everyday use how is it to live with?

I rarely see less than 24mpg in my 2010 3.0 TDV6 but miss having the speed I had in previous cars, and I'm sure 500bhp would more than make up for that.

I have a friend who has a 4.2 supercharged and he shows around 20mpg, which I could live with if I would achieve similar.

With the price difference between petrol and diesel it'll cost similar to fill, but then the mpg comes into play.

So is it worth it? I'm going to try and get one for a 24hour test drive to see how it compares for me.

Thanks guys MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports

Get slightly more MPG out of the 5 than I did in the 4.2; but no where near 20. 15ish i think. Just worked out I used 27,000 litres of fuel in my 4.2 HST. Shocked

We have a rather nice 60 plate, 7000 miles, black/ivory 5.0 SC in stock with DVD's and a few other bits........... I'd say it would be peanuts to swap from one to the other.... Wink

Just think, a trip across to LPR and home with 500 (FIVE HUNDRED) Horses! Cool Cool

Just do it mate. They are unbelievable. You'll never stop smileing. If your worried about mpg then stay away. Long runs get about 20 around town 16-17 mpg. It does seem better on fuel than the 4.2 HST I had but both sports are wicked. Good Luck witch ever way you go. You only live once. Whistle Thumbs Up MY11 Autobiography supercharged. Santorini Black. Monaco interior. Rear screens. Privacy.
Gone MY08 Supercharged HST. Java black. Ivory premium interior. Rear screens. Privacy. Missed a lot.

I feel he may have been driving like a 'tool' as they new M3 should disappear into the distance against the RRS, even the 5.0 S/C Shocked

@ Big Pimp, similar here, have just filled up, tank showed 30 miles left and I had 484 on the clock, very happy with that Razz ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
