7 seat / boot seats??? Anyone got them?

Seen a couple of rrs with a 7 seat option in the boot? Only looks good for kids but that'll do for us.

Anyone got one? Any problems?

I would not put my kids in the boot. Not originally designed as a 7 Seater so think about crumple zones.

The interior is aweful in those and quite small inside compared to other 7 seaters.. the new discovery 4 is much better.... I would just go with a Q7...

Only just bought the rrs so not looking to change just yet! I wasn't looking for an everyday solution, more of having the option to take 2 more every now and again. If that makes sense? MY10 Autobiograhy

Hi PP

I've got a seven seat conversion in my RRS.

A place called Scot Seats Direct (01560 600100) based in Ayrshire

Will only take small kids and is rear facing.

easy to remove only leaving seat belt buckles bolted to floor(though floor to chassis)

As for safety it comes with a Certificate of Conformity

Has to be said it is not ideal, but if you want to keep your RRS it is OK

cheers Kiel Kiel

I had an X5 courtesy car recently which was 7 seater although it looks very cramped, even for kids!

Got to be a Q7 or a Disco for 7 seats. Q7 would be my weapon of choice, had many a full house in mine! Laughing LCFC. Receiver of threatening letters from Overfinch.
