I am sure I read that if your car is a company car you can wash it with a hosepipe on your drive - your 'other' car cannot be washed in the same way !!! Pure gold ! .......... |

Think that is bad, we use 1cubic metre a quarter inward, which costs £15, but pay £2k PA for waste water off the roof based on rates! We asked if we could use a water butt to reduce it, and they told us no! Thieving gits!! Cheers Dave MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps! The reason just adding a water butt won't help is because once it's full the water just goes to the drain. So no real difference as far as they're concerned. However, you could disconnect yourself from the surface water drainage system and run the excess to a soakaway in the ground if your have room. Then they can go swing as far as the surface water charge is concerned.
