Spotted some discolouration of the cream paintwork on our Fiat 500 at the weekend, around the O/S headlight, wing and bonnet. It looks to be yellowing.

theres a few colours fade failry quickly, namely yellows, whites and creams.

I doubt you'll be able to reject on the basis of 'just' the paint as they will be allowed a reasonable attempt at rectifying it, ie a respray.

Blimey, that's poor to be honest, something definitely not right with the paint. That bonnet/bumper shot is shocking as is the 'A' pillar

@Beancounter & Chris - thanks, Ive posted on the Fiat Forum and would be happy to get an opinion on the paint - presumably an AA/RAC report? FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Thats terrible brads, i would get the paint thickness tested with a micrometer, i would guess that its had a paint repair before delivery, a very bad one at that |

^^^ when you say 'even' Bradders, what was the reading, anything above 150 and I'd be questioning it.

Beany - paint readings varied between 134 and 152. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Reading on a few fiat forums bradders, it seems fiat don't know how to paint their cars, just do a google search Hope you get it sorted very soon |
