I think Jay has a very valid point.

We could afford a S/C if we wanted one, I have a massive issue with the price of fuel and how much of it is tax!

I hate spending ANY amount of time filling my car up and having covered 5.5k miles since 1st March I would have spent so much time (And money = fuel tax) that I would have lost what marbles I have left.

Can you imagine, in 2 1/2 months 366 gallons @ £4 per gallon?

= £1,466 on fuel alone. I don't think anyone, no matter how much money you have would CHOOSE to spend that! Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award
