England 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

.....I've been reading this thread from start to finish with great interest as this seems to have arisen again on a new thread.

Firstly, as a relative newbie, can I doth my cap to you guys as pioneers testing these things for us on your vehicles.
Your knowledge on the inner workings of these engines and ECU is fantastic and very humbling.

Can I ask what the final conclusions were?

Did anyone else fit blanking plates with no problems and provide any more VIN numbers?

You guys have mentioned 8A's and 9A's I think.......I have a 7A and wondered if I stood a better chance of not getting an EML crop up.

Thanks in advance,

Gaz.
