If it has had an ECU re-map then it should be undetectable.

Got 15k miles on mine (which has been chipped).........and it still chucks out a small cloud of smoke when I hammer it......I wouldn't worry, its in the nature of some diesel engines. |

Is it a TurboChips type remap or one of the Tunit plug in dongle type. If it is the latter you should be able to unplug it and run in "standard" tune and see if you get the cloud effect. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Not really, but I do keep an eye on my oil level as its used about 1 litre since new. |

LR can only invalidate the warranty if they can prove a failure (when it occurs) was directly due to the modification. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support! |

I think you will find that they all do it chipped or not, now you have seen it it is playing on your mind and you will be looking for it even more.
