My local stealer happily have offered me 4 winter wheels at a buddy price of £2650 plus mounting on the car... ... sooo.... I was thinking perhaps I could find some cheaper wheels with M+S / Winter tires in the UK... Still looking! So I am looking either for second hand 19" rims I can put new tires on or a set of 19" wheels with 255/50 19" winter tires... I picked up a set of 19inch rims from ebay for £450, sold the tyres off them for £150 and put new Wintracs on for £800 fitted. So £1100 all in.

I just got four nice alloys (19") and almost new Vreidstein M&S for £750 off e-bay. Put them on yesterday and they do drive bett er than the Goodyears on my standard wheels. Weather has promptly changed from a bit chilly to warm monsoon rain though. |
