Heat

Just come home from a 20min run on the motorway.The exhaust smells of burning and very hot.Could this be something to
do with the dpf cut in.

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

The exhaust on my 535d used to get very hot when the Diesel Particulate Filter cleaning cycle was activated......so i would say yes.

Yes its what the dpf is there fore...use fuel and bake it Mike
