United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
adding forte to fuel

hi all, have always dreamed of owning a range rover and now the dreams over.! had my rrs for about 2 weeks and all ok,but started putting "FORTE" in the diesel when i put in about £70.since then i have had trouble with the egr's.! i have had one replaced this week at stratstone land rover to the cost of just under £400,lucky for me the aa warranty picked up bill, but does anyone no if the forte was to blame.? does anyone else use it.? i also put in total exellium diesel and wondered if i was over doing it.? the last lady owner had car for about 4 years and only has 35,000 miles on clock.her job was only about half a mile down road and back which is all she seemed to go as she only did about 15000 miles in this time.! took it for good blast on motorway today, left it in 3rd and drove at 65mph for about 20 miles at about 4000rpm,garage said the other egr is not working fully but might now i have replaced none working one.? any ideas and any good info tips please.! had car now about 5 weeks and love it.!

Seems you should have got this:

Not sure how a fuel additive would cause an EGR to fail, maybe just coincidence but if it was the Forte, get the claim in and pronto. L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!
