United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
Few questions from a newbie

Hi, I'm new here and I've got a few questions about my 2007 rrs tdv8

1, looks like my air compressor is on its way out, I wanna fit a new one, cheapest and best option? Also will it require a software upgrade when fitted?

2, best way to play music through my iPhone 6? It's got an aux input but the aux on the stereo is in use with a roof mounted DVD, ideally would like to stream music but not bothered about retrofitting some kind of cable etc?

3, anybody tried the lowering links? Do they work? Is the ride harsh? Or is lowering better done electronically with the module?

Thanks in advance

Martin

1, check ou Duckworth Land Rover I'm sure I saw them offering some at discounted prices, no you don't need any software upgrades, might need fault codes checking/clearing though.
2, don't know !
3, WHY ! If you wanted a low rider 4x4 should of bought an Audi or Volvo. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

1. Cheapest is a compressor refurb kit. Best option is a new AMK compressor. You need to replace the relay when you change the compressor.

2. No idea.

3. Haven't used the links. Yes they do work, ride harshness is a subjective issue. No difference betweenbetween links and electronic methods.

I'm with Camelrock on the lowering question... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

The software should be updated for an AMK too. "Flack" on here could do this for you. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

I think the software update merely ignores a temperature sensor that the original compressor had and the AMK doesn't have. Apparently it can throw up an error in some cases if not updated. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

It can bring up an exhaust valve fault IIRC. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
