car wont start

changed my fuel filter on my tdv8 today and now the pig wont start, anyone got any ideas please

A complete guess but does it only flow one way, and has it been checked to ensure it is the right way ?

i belive you turn the ignition on and off about 5 times to prime system to which i have done and it wont star so wondered if there was a bleed nipple some where

yes mate it did thanks, its a bit hard to find and a bit tricky to remove and to replace but a straight farward job for a compitant mechanic , i just carn understand why it wont start unless its because the battery wasnt turning the engine fast enough, on older stuff cracking the injectors open used to do the trick

I would hope that you took care of the water-in-fuel sensor electrical connector and that the fuel filter element is properly aligned.

If you've done well so far, forget about priming the system by turning the ignition on/off...

What you need do now is to bleed the system.

Do a search, its been discussed before. Malaysia Boleh!

thanks mate , i have been searching on how to bleed the system al night and not found out yet lol some things are simple to find and other things are a nightmare to find
