Npinks, That's kinda where I was coming from where the young driver is concerned. The problem is that (up here anyway) most of these kids are killing themselves in 1.0L or 1.2L Corsa's, Saxo's etc, so I don't think that a restriction on engine size / bhp alone is enough. Perhaps there should be restriction on the max speed they are legally allowed to drive at (lets say 50mph) on a single carraigeway road and if they are caught breaking it, they are instantly put on 9 points for a year.
