I was given the build date the day I ordered it, which was about 3 months from ordering, it was built on that date, but took two weeks to be delivered up the road!

Deposit paid in early august and the dealer's october allocation was therefore brought forward. They phoned on Friday past to say it was built and that it was only a matter of time before the low loader turned up. Still no sign but hopefully they will get it tomorrow. Not sure if it will go into the showroom as it's all about evoque's at the moment. |

It does fell more punchy, however I attributed this to the additional 2 gears giving more flexibility. The big difference for me (as I do lots of motorway miles) is that the 8th gear is very long meaning a much more releaxed cruising speed due to lower revs. James |

Are many people finding that they are getting they MY2012 early? The expected delivery date into the dealer on mine is 26th October - I would love to have it sooner then that! |

I collected my 2012 sport last friday from Lookers Bishop Stortford, it had been on order since late July, it arrived slightly earlier than they said and I have to say that I am over the moon with it. Road Tax wise, I guess I should have waited for the 1st October but I made the mistake of going to look at it and that was it I wanted it NOW 12MY RRS Orkney Grey HSE Lux
