NAVIGATION PROBLEM

Hi i have 2006 sport hst recentley ive had bit of problem with my navigation route calculation so ive done a default reset on nav setting, since than when ever i put an address i get the message unable to calculate your route. what have i done wrong or what do i need to do to get back to normal. thanks in advance for any reply.

Make sure you set the nav to the right country, default is Belgium.

Yes i have it on uk map still same message unable to calculate your route, any idea how to get the nav disc out from under the seat.

Move passenger seat forwards and up, you can then reach the drive from the rear passenger footwell. It should have a lock switch to prevent the disc being accidentally ejected. Move this and then press eject.

I think this is also listed in the manual Whistle

took the disc out and back in again, still the same problem. the pointer in the screen is moving when im driving so its working but unable to calculate any route. could it be the 22' wheels i recently upgraded to.

any help please

Hi abs,

When you reset the Sat Nav did you specifically change the sat nav FROM Belgium TO UK?

As ELD70 says it defaults to Belgium. This is for the route planning, but it will show UK maps and move the pointer. So you always have to manually reset it to the UK.
