Flat Battery

Simply a reminder - dont do what I did this morning & leave the ignition on for 30 mins to charge the phone. Flat battery........ Amazing..... never thought a tiny Nokia used so much juice! Seriously, I guess its running loads of stuff when ignition on so thats the problem. (Battery & Alternator is good nick according to LR Assistance) Confused

Wow that was quick, I know that P38's used to have problems with flat batteries due to those wireless home weather stations, the wireless frequencies where close enough to activate the BCU and make the whole vehicle live but I would've thought the Sport might have lasted a while longer, you need a bit of wire with a lighter socket on the end hard wired to the battery then !

Great idea Andy! I have a 1956 Series 1, so I'm quite adept at bodging! Laughing

Lucky git, always fancied an early series but not got round to buying one yet, slightly over run with wheeled toys at the moment.

Worth it for sheer entertainment value - fix anything with a spanner, and always makes you smile. Top off in summer( not at the moment then) & flying down country roads is a must for anyone Very Happy
